What is the time frame it takes for an SBA loan to go through?

It depends heavily on the program and what is being financed. A standard 7a with real estate can be done in 6 weeks with a preferred lender. The biggest wait is the appraisal.
A 504 loan can take a bit longer depending on who is underwriting the 504 portion.

If there is no real estate involved, only equipment, fixtures, leasehold improvements, and operating capital am I looking at shorter than 6 weeks?
