I am wondering where to go for a loan to purchase a franchise.
The franchise is a very fast growing service related industry. I need a loan of $30k. My personal credit scores are in the mid 600s.
I have a BA in business and have worked 16 years for my current employer. 10 of those in management.
I only have about 10% down.
I have already completed the training that is required.
Where should I look for the financing?

I don’t do small business loans, but I would suspect a community bank. Also are there any other assets that you can tap? I think that accessing “home equity” is one of the cheapest sources of borrowing there is. You should take into account that borrowing against equity will place the property at risk if things don’t work out.
