Hi,
I have my own real estate company and I'm working with a private equity firm to start buying rental properties all over the midwest. They are going to fund the deals and I'm going to be going out and finding the deals and doing the negotiating. Now I'm trying to figure out the best way to fund these deals. I have been looking at Lines of Credit, sba's ect. The group thats funding these deals through a joint venture has a half a billion in liquid assets. Does anyone have advise on the best way to leverage these deals?

Hi Jpg,
I'm confused. Are you funding the deals, or is the Equity company? I'm assuming your still putting 20 - 25% of your own money down? If not, how are you working it?

A line of credit for this type of investments is rare, SBA loans are not usually given for investing in real estate. Rental property financing is usually done on a property by property basis with a term-loan.
