Does anyone know of a good outlet to finance a drag strip? We are looking for 65-75% LTV. Any help is appreciated with this unique property.

The SBA loan guarantee program probably could be used for this. SBA lenders each have their own criteria, but it should generally be eligible if you can find a willing lender. The LTV you mentioned is not a problem. The lender also will be looking at your experience in owning and managing this type of venture or a similar venture, your personal credit history, and--very importantly--sufficient cash flow from the business.

Feel free to contact me if you want to discuss this in more detail.

The previous post is correct. SBA is probably the best route for this and cash flow and management experience are going to be the most important criterion. They both need to be really strong. Some finance companies will also look at it but their underwriting will be similar to a SBA loan.

Thank you both for your advice on this one. We have access to SBA loans, but have not done much with them or drag strips. I will give it a try.
