About 2 years ago I co-signed on a car loan with someone however this person has been late on payments before, and is currently 25 days late on the current payment, and I really want to get my name off of the loan. Is there anyway I can go about doing this?

The only one that can release you is the lender. you have to ask them.
Your friend can get you out by refinancing on his/her own.
